One of the founding principles of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is its commitment to encouraging and cultivating high scholastic standards among young women. It has a rich history of providing young African American women with opportunities to go to college by establishing scholarships through its hundreds of chapters.
The Epsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter which serves Champaign, Urbana, and Danville began awarding scholarships over 40 years ago. To date, we have awarded over $100,000 to graduating high school seniors through our fundraising and charitable efforts, and we strive to continue this important tradition. We encourage you to apply for our scholarship and/or join us in our fundraising efforts by supporting our signature scholarship fundraising event, Pink Panache.
