Each year, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated Epsilon Epsilon Omega Chapter presents scholarships to outstanding African American high school female graduates in the Champaign, Urbana and Danville areas who have shown academic growth and who have contributed to their school and community.
The scholarships are based on the following criteria:
- Academic Success
- Acceptance in a college or university
- Extra-curricular involvement in school
- Community involvement
- Faculty letters of recommendation
- An essay written by the applicant
